2023, its been a fantastic season!
Every year, I`am amazed with the quality my mares produce, and the stunning foals beeing born with the SD name on them.
This year was for sure no exception.
We started the season with a big boom and a fantastic colt was born! Then, they came, one by one. All fresh, healthy, stronglooking and with mamas doing an outstanding job. I love my mares so much.
Le me give you a short update, listed up underneath:
- Hardcore SD Z ( Hardrock Z x Vigo D`arsouilles x Cardento x Darco) 09.04.23
We was thrilled to welcome the first (ET) foal of the year, a fantastic colt from our mare Rosa Rubiginosa van de Lentamel.
Hardcore SD Z is out of a impressive damline, with famous names like Evian Van’t Heike, Fair light Van’t Heike, Valentina Van’t Heike in his damline.
He stands correctly on his legs, he moves uphill, his reflexes are strong and his mind is sweet. He is everything you can dream of.
Hardrock Z himself, jumped successfully in numerous Grand Prix-competitions at top level, such as in Wellington, Tryon, Calgary, Miami, et cetera. In addition, Hardrock Z has fantastic reflexes, an excellent attitude and an outstanding rideability.
Hardcore was early on sold to Al Shira`aa Stables.
2. My Fireball ( Mylord Carthago x Heartbeat x Dutch Capitol) 10.04.23
We welcomed this firecracker with huge amazement! Such a strong and vital foal! Up standing and looking for the milkbar within 20 min. My Fireball SD is Harrah’s first foal, and what an explosive,
reactive, curious and gentle young lady. This filly also comes from a very strong damline, with multiple 150 horses, and I got a good feeling that we will see some 160 horses aswell in the future👌
My Fireball SD was sold and will move to Sweeden, when she is old enough.
3. Undercover SD ( Utamaro D`ecaussines x Zirocco Blue x Tangelo x Burgraaf) 29.04.23
A strong hansom colt from my previous compeeting mare Hopina H e. Zirocco Blue x Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Burgraaf and the super successful stallion Utamaro d’ecaussines.
He has a perfect temper, a good look, a dreamy gallopp and the qualities of a future star!
Undercover is a gentleman that makes life easy. Nothing is a problem, and he is really always looking at the bright side of life.
The future is exciting, and Hopina for sure shows that she passes of her good head, easy character and hopefully also her rideability.
Undercover was sold to Norway, and we are so glad we can follow this gentlemen close in the future.
4. Classification SD Z ( Carrera x Casall x Chin Chin x Carthago) 03.05.23
The first foal of Casallina was a pretty, feminin and with her genetic profile, it is almost inevitable that this filly will jump with flashy reflexes, power and technique.
Sire Carrera VDL is synonymous for all those important qualities and they are also strongly anchored in grandsire Casall.
Classification was sold to Slovakia, and I hope we will see her on the bit arenas one day!
5. Contagion SD Z ( Conthargos x Chin Chin x Carthago Z) 28.05.23
With his charisma and charm, he is winning the heart of everybody looking at him. Contagion is a true athlete, and with his good look, his light footed trot and big strong gallopp
– yet with quick reflexes, this big boy is a true stallion prospect. Beauty and quality is united in this foal, and the expections for the future is big.
Contagion was sold to Al Shira`aa Stables.
6. Empresse SD Z ( El Barone x Nabab De Reve x Saygon) 04.06.23
Dark brown, with the look of a princess, this very interessting filly is for sure a true eyecatcher.El Barone 111 Z is a son of Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof out of the 1.50m level mare Naktibro,
that adds the desired blood of Libero H and Zeus. Mother Fiona Van`t Heike has herself compeeted 1.55, and Empresse is er second foal.
Empresse was early on sold to Al Shira`aa Stables.
7. Celeste SD Z ( Casall x Emerald Van`t Ruytershof x Heartbreaker) 06.06.23
A successfull pedigree like this, makes you look twice. When you also have the look, the lightness in your feets, the uphill gallopp and the quickness of a antilope,
you know you have a good mix. Celeste is the first foal of SD Queen of Heart, and she is born in Belgium. Queen has shown us what she can produce, and im excited to see her
comming under saddle this winter.
Celeste was sold to Robert Withaker, and will move to England when she is old enough.
Robert has previously ridden her uncle, Hickstead AEG, and right now, another Withaker is succesfull with a aunt of Celeste, Nova AEG.
